THEN TAUNTON EVENING ARTS SOCIETY WELCOMES YOU!

 

The Arts Society Taunton Evening (TASTE) is one of over 360 societies affiliated to the national charity The Arts Society.

There are many benefits to joining the Arts Society (https://theartssociety.org)

•          Admission to outstanding monthly lectures

•          Invitations to exclusive member events and courses

Our group,TASTE, offers a programme of early evening events with inspiring expert lecturers bringing together people who share a love of the arts in all its forms, from paintings through to decorative arts and music.

Lectures take place at Queen's Hall, Queen's College, Taunton where tiered seating and a large screen mean that the images are clear and visible to all. The talk lasts about one hour with time afterwards for questions. There is also ample parking on site.

Our talks are all given by experienced and highly qualified Arts Society accredited lecturers, who are experts in their chosen field and who have to pass a rigorous selection process, so they are lively, interesting and inspirational. There is also ample opportunity for further learning through a Q and A session that we hold at the end of each talk.

We meet at Queen's Hall from 6.15 when wine or soft drinks are available before the lecture begins at 6.45pm. We also offer an excellent selection of 'nearly new' art books for purchase at very reasonable prices.

We welcome non members, who can attend as guests for a one-off lecture price of £10.00, with no restrictions on the number of guests at each event.

For those who are unable to attend in person the majority of our lectures are also streamed 'live' via ZoomWebinar, where the cost for non members is £10.00 per device
