You are warmly welcomed to our Taunton Evening Society to discover fascinating facts and information about a range of fine arts, design and music in the company of others who have similar interests and enthusiasms.

Our evenings are lively and informal and offer a great opportunity to get to know people better and to make new friends.

The Arts Society Taunton Evening (TASTE ) was incorporated in 2016 with the aim of providing stimulating, interesting and enjoyable arts lectures, visits and study days  - all available to members who live, work or study in and around Taunton. We number some 120 members.

Our Society's year of annual events kicks off in September. We meet every second Thursday evening of the month - with the exception of July, August and December - in the Queen's Hall, at Queen's College in Taunton.

Soft drinks and wine are available from 6.15 pm before the start of our one hour lecture at 6.45pm and the lecture is always followed by a brief Q&A session for participants. We also offer a range of high quality second hand art books for purchase on the evening.

In addition to our one-to-one lectures we offer a 'hybrid' format, which means that our lectures are also transmitted live via ZoomWebinar to members who are unable to attend in person, for which we charge a fee of £10.00 per visit/device.
