Heritage Volunteers

The conservation and preservation of our national heritage are tremendous burdens on the limited resources of museums, historic houses, libraries, churches, National Trust properties and gardens.

The Arts Society, as one of the leading heritage volunteer organisations in the UK, helps these institutions in non-specialist but vital ways by caring for collections, recording documents, cataloguing, guiding and stewarding and so helps to keep items accessible for all.
